Divination Nation is a theme camp with about 50 - 60 people.
We're home to: The Divination Station art installation, The Pyramid -an art piece which will be bigger than most domes, a bicycle repair expert, a public chill/sleeping dome, and a 100' tent which will have The DC Guerilla Poetry Insurgency performing, open mics, djs and a bar.
We will be hosting the Third Annual Goddess Gathering on Wednesday afternoon. Ladies, you are all more than welcome to join us for this gathering!
For more information, goto http://burningwoman.tribe.net/thread/21 ... 01f72567ab
(Sorry guys, only the men in our theme camp are allowed at this Gathering.)
If anyone is interested in joining the camp or djing (downtempo, chill, ambient, tribal is what we're looking for mostly) please contact me and let me know.

Details, details, details...
We are asking for a camp fee: $100 if you provide all of your food and your drinking water. If you're flying in - see below under FOOD.
Last date for fees to be paid: August 18th.
What the money is going to: $400 to semi transporting the infrastructure, Aprx $600 gennie rental, $300+ for gas (we'll know more about this when we get the stats on the gennie), $50 rebar for staples , $200 for 1000 glowies, and the rest for odds and ends and booze.
Everyone is in agreeance that we should get 2 cases of Rock Star Juice
Free communal coffee, creamer and sugar, dishsoap
We have a shade structure, just for our camp of about 60' by 30'.
We have a private camp shower structure with 4 showers.
We have 125gals of water to share within the camp.
Main event tent - 100' circ. parachute (dk blue) and a 20' radio tower.
FOOD: Every burner for themselves out West. Meaning the only communal food which is being brought is for those flying in and they pay $100 extra for everything to be provided for them (you'd spend that much or more for food in Reno and it won't be mostly homemade like the stuff we're bringing for the flyers).
The people living from Colorado -West, are bringing their own food for the week. I'm sure there will be much sharing once on playa - example: I'm making and bringing big containers of hummus and babaganush for everyone. From experience, we usually just add what we all bring to the pot (excepting your comfort foods) - though we aren't planning any group meals, it's usually whoever is around that's hungry at the same time cooks and eats together. Though lunch will more than likely be the big meals for everyone, since most don't like venturing out in the heat of the day and we have enough shade for a camp twice our size!
If you're still considering DN - please join us on the Tuesday night conference calls. It will help if we all get to know each other before playa, we have a lot of fun and talk about everything with lots of laughter.
Contact me for info on how to call in.
We have a main event tent which will have a small sound system (700W) for djs and poets.
There is Divination Station - which will be out on the frontage and isn't so much manned as checked on hourly.
We are hosting the annual Goddess Gathering on Wednesday afternoon (only the males from our camp are allowed in on this event - the women want to feel safe from pawing hands. If you want to help serve and pamper them you are more than welcome. If you don't feel like being a bit of a cabana boy for a few hours, it's ok for you not to participate in it.)
To see what the majority of the camp members are doing/all about:

and check out info on BRC's radio station BMIR here on the main website. Their DJ, Bobzilla, is a part of our camp also.
I think that's it for now.

Nope, it's still on Wednesday 2 - 4 or 5pm.
We're at Esplanade and 5 o'clock, nestled with Death Guild/Thunderdome, Space Cowboys, Zombie Dome/Cockroach Theater and Shadow Chamber. I believe we'll be the "quiet" camp amoungst all those guys.
