What Burning Man means to me.

F*$k Thomas Kuhn. The Burning Man Festival marks the upshot of postmodernism and the dawn of a new paradigm: it's an elated subversion of Englightenment, an ecstatic liberation from a false world, a celebration of regeneration, and a pillar of cloud and fire marshalling us forward to inherit our wings.

I would say that BM doesn't provide anything at all.
But it might grease the wheels for future insights.

I've always liked the explanation Larry Harvey gave: "It gives me a chance to get laid." Amen.

Regress to a focus of childlike eyes. Open, trusting and willing.......experimental.....playful. Overlooking the playa......"playmates!"
But, I digress.

A time to work and play harder than ever on both accounts.
Live as if everyone loves you and thinks you look great. Dance as if no one is watching.
