Goddess party...who's going?

Are you going? What girlie stuff/food/wine etc are you bringing? I can't wait to meet other Goddesses! Especially after camping with my guys all week.

I want to contribute glitter and ribbons and such like for hair. If anyone wants me to do french braids in your hair I will be happy to.
....and I'll be bringing wine and some goodies to eat, trying to decide on what.

I love french braids, can't do them myself fer crap.

I'm thinking cream puffs. Every goddess loves cream puffs.

But Wedneady is also Very Bad Santa at Lake Lahontan Yacht Club, how can I miss Bad Santa?

FYI...the Goddess Party is on Monday the 28th from 8-10 pm, Belladonna/Ascension camp. It's listed with other events on the Playa Calendar.

They changed it to Monday evening? Oh, cannot go, I'm hosting Family Home Evening for the Utahns that night. FHE MUST be on Monday evening, it's an ex-mormon thing.

I'll be my own hearth-goddess then I suppose.

Just found out that there are two Goddess events...the one on Monday, Goddess party, and the other is the Goddess Gathering on Wednesday from 2 pm to 4 or 5 pm, it's located at Esplanade and 5:00.

I was really looking forward to going..and of course to BM as well, having some troubles with my man and now having second thoughts if I should go this year. I could go anyway, say the hell with him and camp elsewhere....and be with some fun BM women instead....don't know what to do.

LOL! Just to confuse you further, every day you can find some Women only/pampering event somewhere in BRC. Can't throw a dead cat without hitting one, really.

Believe me I've had similar thoughts. Last year, through the course of construction, I put a six stitch gash in my head, tore chunks out of my shin and triceps that left scars I've still got, dislocated a hip (fell off the tower and caught myself with one leg), broke a toe, and gathered all kinds of smaller bumps and bruises. Basically I was broken-up on playa.

Had I been a women I could have gotten rubs, lovin', food, and whatever else I wanted from any number of camps. But, given the dangly bits, I could get a shaft at Jiffy Lube, bullshit from just about everyone, and that's just about it. Bottom line? Straight men are a dime a dozen on playa and valued appropriately but attractive women are gold. Just the way it is, seems to me, and us 'gods' are better off simply accepting it.

Oh dang, Ron, you stuck your foot in it. When the standard is "attractive women" I just don't know what to do with my stubborn soft butch self.

btw--Are you in the habit of throwing dead cats on playa? And do you moop properly afterwards?

LOL! I'm not endorsing that reality, merely reporting my observations. And note that I didn't define, "attractive." For some groups those "stubborn soft butch" ladies are the cat's meow.

Hugs for the missing, and I *always* pick up moop. Somewhat pathological about it I've been known to chase down wind blown stuff on my bike, on foot, and on scooter from time to time. :)

Hmmm...Princess party.....for all genders? Good idea, M. I was feeling a wee bit sorry for the excluded men and thought maybe they do need a God party just for them. I don't know....are they deserving? Have to think about that for a minute...
