re-read tisha's suggestion, please.

like i told my wife only three days ago... everything is going to be fine.

funds arrived, the mortgage was paid, and she still has money...

fishy, it is going to be fine, and the sooner you choose to see it that way, the better it will get. IMHO.

I do know that Joel, but I believe in proper mourning. In part to make sure everything is fine. It's like properly draining the oil before you put the new stuff in, much better for the engine.

i am the last person to define what a "proper mourning" period is, or how to even do it.

we're (myself and others) just being supportive in the best manner we know how.

again, you will be fine, over time.

Fishy, I think it's more like sourdough than crank case oil - you always keep a little of the old stuff to make the new stuff right.

Well, you do know that the bar is hosting 2 BED seminars.

Not that it will replace the playa experience if you don't make it, but you can feel good about some momentum that you added.

I did not go poof.

It's okay to cut your hair. It's okay to have a blog. It's okay to drop by and visit old friends.

Have some sipping scotch.

I always figured that if I did the chemo route I'd go for one of those silver ribbony wigs. Don't even pretend it's "real."

i actually like bald, bald works fine for me. not so good for finding a straight job...or keeping one either, for that matter. but i like how bald looks and feels. now the growing out part? hmmmm. not so pretty. think lightbulb then Rosanna Rosannadanna, then hay field, then i'm not so sure what happens after that...but we're gonna find out soon!!!
