help!!!!!
I can't find the instructions to my old canopies- they are the cheapo target dealies- I have several, don't know the brand names, but they all have that damned design: poles are labeled 1, 2, 2a, 3, 3a, 4 etc. I haven't used them in years- The only thing I can remember about the pole assembly is that it is completely counter-intuitive!!! I know a lot of you have these jenky canopies- can you PLEASE send me the instructions!!!!!!!!

Thanks mr. helpful! Anyone? Got the damned instructions?Badger wrote:Flip the damn thing over and use it to collect your gray water. It's too damn late in the game to solicite this group for minutia. Besides, it'll get blown over anyway.
Hope this helps.
ps- I'm butting it up against 2 carports, jackass!

Hmmm, counter-intuitive, you say? Why, that’s right up my alley! Which is a pretty goddamned dirty expression when you stop and think about it. Which I wish you wouldn’t, because now you’re making me feel uncomfortable. Stop it.The Wicked (though also apparently Quite Mechanically Helpless) Witch wrote:The only thing I can remember about the pole assembly is that it is completely counter-intuitive!!!
Now, where was I? Oh yeah, counter-intuitive. Well, your counter-intuitive might very well be right up my alley, or not. Let’s try this: I had a wonky little shade structure back in the day. As per tradition, I live on the outer road and out there we “take it in the teeth wind-wise”. It (said wonky little shade structure) lasted approximately 45 minutes, after doing a sprightly and bizarre spider dance. Is the main joint-connector-thingie plastic? If yes, then you too have a wonky shade structure. Which you already knew. I’ve seen them stand all week, but not in my section of town. Maybe if you setup behind say, a school bus. A school bus with a bitchin’ flame job that runs on vegetable oil with a hot-tub inside even. I digress.
As I recall, it had cheesy little poles marked 1, 1A, 2, 2A, etc. I know this sounds completely nutso and off-the-wall, but have you actually tried connecting poles 1 to 1A?
If that ain't it, I can't help you.
