Is Propane/Helium delivered to the playa?

I heard a rumor last year that their was a reno based company that delivers gases to the playa, such as propane, helium, etc. Has anyone heard of this? Are they doing it this year? I need 3-4 large canisters of helium out there for a project with weather balloons, but can't find a way to bring them myself.

How about he may not have a safe way to transport large bottles in an upright position for what he needs to do? And if someone is already bringing bottles and they can bring one or two more why not ask? Instead of "incredible" this sounds like a very reasonable request.

How about when several people contract for gases the price goes down and the delivery cost is ammortized over a greater number of people, thus reducing the delivery cost as well. I am handling the gas delivery this year. Being self reliant does not mean one should not save money when possible. We have placed our order, I may be able to add to it. Contact me off list.

Praxair will no longer deliver to the Playa. Everyone is now on their own. We were never able to get a good answer as to why not, but we needed 30 bottles. Radical self reliance this year.
