Oversized vehicle parking at Reno airport? A Van+Trailer.

Post by Cryogene » Wed Aug 09, 2006 11:15 pm

Does anyone know if the Reno Airport long term parking lot has spaces for oversized vehicles? Or will they let me take up two regular spaces? We're going to be pulling a small tent-trailer and need to park it for a trip just before Burningman.

I read that they have an outdoor lot for $8/day, but it doesn't say more than that. Thanks.

I would definitely check about policies for 2 parking spaces...here's what I found:

AIRPORT PARKING RATES
Short-Term Parking Fees on the 1st Level of the parking structure are $1 for the first 30 minutes, $2 for the first hour, and an additional dollar per hour up to a maximum of $20 per day.

Long-Term Parking Fees in the Surface Lot are $1 for the first 30 minutes, $2 for the first hour, and an additional dollar per hour up to a maximum of $8 per day.

Long-Term Parking Fees on the 2nd and 3rd level of the parking structure are $1 for the first 30 minutes, $2 for the first hour, and an additional dollar per hour up to a maximum of $12 per day.

I have seen RVs parked in the outdoor long term lot in the past.
Be careful. You can spend all your money in there..............................Oriental Visitor
