Riding a bike on the playa at night is already kinda scary with unlit people and dark art out there....I shudder at the thought of drunken art cars cruising around. You don't want to advocate playa justice but....in the interest of public safety and personal safety that might need to be considered. Especially if you run into that kind of situation far from a Ranger outpost....
That being said I can see a slippery slope here....with the increasing regs next thing you know breathalizer interlocks will be required. Juggling the balance of safety vs. personal freedom is becoming more challenging than ever. Where does one draw the proverbial line in the fucking sand? I see BBS's point...I really understand it and agree with it. Yet....I wonder where it will lead to if taken to a conclusion....

Oh, and, FUCK that verticle filing cabinet I swiped from the DOC's trash is heavy! I had delusions of being able to slide it up the stairs to my apartment by myself, but after about five minutes of trying to coax it up the stairs I decided "Fuck It!" and put it back into my car until I am able to persuade someone to help me haul it upstairs. Or until I buy a bus to convert into a camper, in which case it will go into there to be used as a chest of drawers! (Of course, I will need some sort of hydralic jack to get it into the bus..., hmm.)
