Why is ride share so hard to use?

Everyone is posting on Craigslist and their local sites because the rideshare for Burning man is so hard to find and use. Why can't it be easier for all?

This is my point exactly. Why is 2005 even still there? I did send a note about 2 months ago but got no response. That is why I posted a new topic here.

but thats not completely true, some things still get done when people take it upon themselves to do it rather than rely on some org.

but i understand where you are comming from, and definately understand the frustration.
