The author of The Tin Drum was in the Waffen SS.

I'm not, we reached the moon first because of von Braun, a Nazi scientist.

My history teacher as a Sophomore in HS was an officer on a U boat in the German Navy. Used to bring in his photo albums on occasion, told what it was like on the "other" side of the war, and told some pretty spooky stories about their campaigns, especially later in the war... In the 90's, he was a consultant for the game "WolfPack" for the German half of the game.

Um... he was also pretty biased against undisciplined kids, tho if you were serious about stuff, he was a heck of a nice guy. Remember one of my friends got a ride from her cousin to school on the back of his harley, and his comments... well... let's just say sich things aren't allowed nowdays. Um Hmmm...

One of my first boyfriends was the grandson of an unrepentant nazi officer.

We used to wish he could see what this Jew was doing to his grandson.....
