Hello all. I am going to be moving from Seattle to New York City in a couple of months and will be needing a place to land so that I can work on getting settled. A little bit about myself: I am a twenty-seven-year-old female who has spent the last two years mastering the art of making fine desserts professionally, developing a passion for dance, and exploring new places. Now, I am getting ready to return to college with a better understanding of what I want for myself. I will be starting at NYU in January. In the meantime, I am doing whatever I can from a distance to secure necessities for my arrival there. Basically, I would like to live with people who are interested in living together, eccentric people who have their shit together, so it might be possible to actually skip the entire temporary stay with people. At any rate, I am interested in any replies that may be of help to my upcoming transition.

Thank you!
Sarah

You could start with the NY craigslist. I was just in NYC a couple of weeks ago, and it seems like the groovier community is tapped in there.
