and scroll down to the fan with copper tubes in a spiral around the cage. Cold water in the ice chest and an aquarium pump to circulate the water to the fan.

Rubber tubes instead?

You can cook with it and have a giant spoon too!
The fan idea, well, I'm underwhelmed. The more tubes you have the less air flow, and I think you would have to use metal tubes for the conduction.

Yeah, that makes sense. I hadn't thought of conduction.

It's dry enough out there that evaporation is quite effective. My first year one of our neighbors rigged some big flexible exhaust tubing (like 12" diameter) up to a fan and mister. Stick your head in there and it cools you down quick!

Evaporation sucks up your available water pretty hey presto.

Some seriously ugly/beautiful vehicles on that site. The street sweeper was brilliant.
