The heat is on!
I have 2 6v trojan batterys that I will hook up in series +- +-
I need to know what the best charger set up to use off a Colman Powermate 1750 (yes I know its not a Honda...) to charge them.
I want the least time possible to not run genny soooo long.
the Generator has a 15amp outlet but I have read a charger will work
better.
Also Is a 800 watt inverter ok to use..how much wasted energy?
Its for x-mas type lights (no more $$ for led type) and a 20w boombox.
HEEEELLLLLPPPP!!!
xxoo

Any 6/12 volt charger $29.oo at Harbor Freight. Go to Batteries Plus and find out what rate you can charge at.

BUT you better be in the next county from Burning Man with that Power Mate. I'm not kidding around with that.

It takes hours to charge storage battery. If they are like car batteries they may not last the week. The type for wheel chairs take over night.

If you sell all that stuff you will have enough money to buy a used Honda EU1000. Not only is it quiet, it weighs 30lb compared to the 300lb you will be lugging with your current setup.
