Sightings...

Post by Lassen Forge » Sat Aug 19, 2006 2:58 pm

On the way to work yesterday... on 580 about 1/2 way to the bridge... was behind a pickup with various and sundry burner shit (including the man stencilled on the box in the bed)... with my truck with various and sundry birner shit on the back...

Since it was my last day of work before going home, does this mean anything? >giggles<

BRC is not my "home". It never will be. My home is clean(er) and has running water and electricity.

BRC is, however, the best damn vacation from life I could take.

One week & counting. Not that I'm counting.
one week one week one week

Hey Bar-B-Sue, not to change the subject (okay, I'm changing the subject - so spank me) I'm seriously thinking about getting my first tattoo. I like this because it's both subtle and understated...

'Course I'd have to fool with the colors a bit as white doesn't show up too good, but it's real artistic, huh?

Wow - THAT was brain dead (hitting Submit before typing)... shouldn't be sampling the 151 for the brownies this early, I guess...

I like it. Spanking you, that is. We will set up your appointment at the Doom Dome. Maybe THAT was why I hit Submit, eh??? >heh heh heh<

SInce you hijacked it (damn, it's people like Sensei that are ruining this event >giggles<)... I'll take the hijack and run.

OK... the Tattoo is way kewl. I'd even do it. You *can* have it haloed, but beware, this is both mondo 'spensive *and* painful - think of having to overfill fill-in. ALso you may beed to re-fill the red, as I've seen some red inks fade. No biggie, just realize there'll be a bit of maintenance in 5-10 years to brighten it up again. But yeah... WAY awesome art.

Where you gonna get it done? Arm? Shoulder? Back? This is kewl enough to work offshoot work off of for when you realize you're addicted to ink. Just remember that it's there forever, so if you do go for full panel work make sure you have a plan what else will go around it, or how to make it a center for something.

From a friend who's also an ink artist - people don't give enough thought to the whats and where's of skin art. He usually will talk to his clients before the needle starts humming. HE also sez, MAKE DAMN SURE you know the artist, or have seen his actual work (NOT his flash) up close. I want a Macaw (my Nuggles) on my shoulder eventually, but need to find someone who can *really* do birds. Most are OK, but I want excellent.

Fuck. 46 hours to launch. CRUNCH TIME!!!!!
