This popped up on google today, and I thought I would share it with all of you. Haven't tested it myself yet, but it's so cheap and easy, it seems like it's worth a go!

My friend built a very similar one. See here for pictures: http://www.flickr.com/photos/54569386@N00/QueenOfTheBeans wrote:This popped up on google today, and I thought I would share it with all of you. Haven't tested it myself yet, but it's so cheap and easy, it seems like it's worth a go!

We've had it at Burning Man several times and it works like a charm. The temperature is lower than a normal oven, so it slow-cooks everything. That means it takes longer to get done (pretty much all day), but everything turns out very nice. We've done chicken which was unbelievably tender.
At Burning Man we've usually done baked potatoes. Simply wrap a bunch of potatoes in aluminum foil in the morning and drop it in. All you gotta do all day long is turn the oven every now and then to follow the sun. At dinner time you have very tasty baked potoes. Usually we'd put in 8-10 potatoes, and then share with our neighbors at night.
