What's with the theme camp signs?

Post by Sark » Thu Aug 24, 2006 3:59 pm

Just returned from the playa. Went to build a tower around 4:15 and all roads are marked with double arrow "reserved for theme camps" signs. Most open camping areas on the 2006 Final website map are marked with these signs every 50 yards. Did we get a lot more theme camps this year, or are the signs a mistake?

All you'll get here is speculation, I fear. I'm sure that the people who did the layout are up there, not reading eplaya.

However, we love speculation here. even if it does make us look fat.

Cool. Since you were there, care to pass on some firsthand information to us?

Hows the weather this year? Hows the playa consistency?

94'F when we arrived at 5:30 pm / 49'F when we left at 5am and yes the playa seems a little softer then last year. There are actualy some light ruts from the vehicles.
