Fuck. Since I left the event and in particular left altitude...the playa's at 4000 ft, my stay in Wyoming was at almost 9000 ft, and KC is at 1000 ft....I'm not seeing the normal "high altitude bounce" of energy I usually get. I'm just fatigued, my throat is raspy like I swallowed a bunch of playa dust, and I've got some serious waterworks going on with my nose.

The sinus meds don't seem to be kicking it's ass either. But I'm hoping it will come around soon...I have one more day of work then I can rest for another couple of days.

That and I was stupid and wore sandals the last two days I was there. I got a bit of playa foot...or more like playa heel but that's healing up. It's still a painful reminder of my stupidity for not covering my feet up.

But that being said I'd gladly head back to the playa in a heartbeat.

Got back in town, found my diploma in the mail. Called my mom last night who was visiting my Grandma (Grammy) in Maine. Found out she was dying. They knew and didn't tell me until last night. Mom was by her side while Grammy was sleeping. She told me on my cell if she should hold on or just let go. I'm still waiting to hear back from her. At any rate I'm trying to be strong. I did get to talk to Grammy a week before I left for the burn. She knew I graduated and was okay.
