Re: Burn Friendly Musicians
Hi C3,
I/we might be interested in doing something. I live in Novato, CA, and have an original funky rock band, but so far my bandmates haven't confirmed they'll be able to go. I do the writing for the band, and on those playa nights I'm full of sudden inspiration. So I'd love to have the ability to play live, do a few originals and some cool covers and and invent things on the spot. Our keyboard player will almost certainly be there, our bass player is probably about 50% likely and our drummer won't be there (gotta find a fun, funky drummer). Our excellent sax playing friend is planning to be there and maybe a percussionist.
I'm working on an art car that I hope will be able to support jamming while driving (in a compact way). If we succeed at it (and I believe we will), the art car will be a chameleon that can change colors to match whatever object we're near. I was thinking the musicians might also do an audio-chamelon thing and jam along with whatever music we're near. We'll morph colors and grooves.
If you (or anyone else) is interested, post a reply and/or email me at [email protected].
