I heard the TSA wouldn't allow him to bring it on the plane. The regs say no passenger may bring a pool onto an airliner due to the threat of a hijacker drowning the flight crew.
Of course, it was a pool TABLE, but rules are rules. I understand Regionalchaos is enjoying a vacation on some bay in Cuba... Guantana-something-or-other...
And a question - It smells delish, but why did someone fire up the whole BBQ pit for a single roast duck?
A drink maybe? How about a RedHot - I hear they're the in thing now.

i'm not posting this in the lost and found thread cause if i really lost it it would have been at, or around the bar. has anyone seen my big black ring with the crystals in it? was it taken off my finger whilst i slept? i can't remember actually taking it off and putting it down, but it's always possible, and my bags are unpacked and laundry all washed and put away......anyone? yeah, i guess i can offer a reward. hour long body rub with all the oils, creams and whatever else you can think of......ask Mozy, he'll tell you I have good hands. it'll have to wait until next year (unless you come to me), but i'm good for it. thanks for listening.

I have a cooler I still haven't cleaned out....and when I opened it I immediately thought of someone having their feet stuck in an almost identical looking one.SED wrote:. . . . .whooooooosh!!!!!!!
That's me slowing down and crossing the threshold.
Mad props to TITWI and Pinemom for taking such good care of me.
Still in my playawear, btw.

All of my coolers will be scoured with baking soda and kept a little more secure from now on. Still it gave me a huge smile just thinking about it.

Pine Mom thanks again for the wonderful Kilt, it really helped make my Burn.
I hope you take it a little easy on your preparations, I remember how taxing getting the kilts done got to be towards the end ,... enjoy!

Bye Sput.. keep in touch!
Hi everyone else.. we just got back into Vancouver this morning, had a nice slow two days in Reno, then toodled through California to see the giant redwoods (Grand Canyon didn't happen, trees won out), then bombed up to SEattle last night to crash at friends before the final haul home.
Thanks to everyone for making me feel welcome at my first burn, and for providing that base I wanted for my journeys out to the playa.. I had an amazing time (aside from that bit of non-amazingness) and am happily dreaming of the Hoop Camp I want to create for next year, now that I sorta kinda somewhat know what to expect :)
I'll pop my photo link up here too, once I get it all loaded.. not too many pics around the Bar, though, so I'm quite happy to see Cin and Nates - thanks! Anyone else have things to share?

Hey people, I finally made it back to the good old UK after yet another journey from hell (28 hour delay)! Its good to be home but I am pining for BRC all ready. I just CAN'T wait another year!
I can safely say that the Bar surpassed all of my expectations, I could not have asked for a better group of people to be camped with. Zule especially was an absolute star.
It was so good to put faces to names and it would be awesome if we could get this village going for next year.
I honestly think that Burning Man has changed my life in some way or another and I love you all Xx
