After the burn this year I ended up putting a still partially lit glowstick in one of my pockets. When I made it back to camp I forgot all about it until I checked out my clothes the next morning. It seems I broke the glowstick completely open sometime after the burn and returning to camp and the chemicals inside the stick leaked out onto my clothes. (And no the clothes don't glow, damn the luck!)
I'm trying to find out how to clean this nasty smelling, sticky stuff without having to have to have my clothing drycleaned. And even Google has little to go on besides if it was on carpet to try Resolve spray. Has anyone else run into a similar problem and knows how to get this stuff out? The chemical stuff is all over a pair of standard Levis shorts so it's just plain denim material, nothing fancy.
Thanks

No solution here but...
perhaps visit the site that specialize in selling them. They might have a FAQ, forum or an email address you can inquire with.

I know that Consumer Reports used to have a book about how to clean almost anything. I haven't seen it in years and have no idea if getting glowstick juice out of denim was in it or not, but it might be worth looking for. (Maybe Resolve spray would work, even though it isn't carpet...? It might be worth trying if you don't find anything else.)
