APOKILIPTIKA Returns!!!
The crew is either home now on will be arriving safely. I expect I will post a full report shortly, and set up photos on our site.... suffice to say, this was a hell of a burn... and memories galore.

To our new allies the Herrings- who by the way, were a true class act... I say thanks, and we will see you on you next playa journey in 08.

Meanwhile, got to get planning for 2007!

On behalf of the M*A*S*H 4207th, allow me to say we had a wonderful time raiding you. "Operation: Fuck them up" was a complete success. Our only regret was not catching the full contingent in camp, though your limited defenders fought bravely. We look forward to running another flag up your stripper pole. Our chemical wepons division is working on new weapons for next year.

Just wanted to take a moment to thank Killbuck and Bay Bridge Sue for stopping in at the Iron Rose. Thanks so much for driving Steve over with the fuel and I hope you enjoyed the grappa. I missed Jellyfish having stopped by earlier in the week only to find he wasn't to arrive until later in the week. But I didn't get back down that way, partially out of fear that Killbuck would find some way to slip that can of smoked herring back into my pack or something.

What a great burn it was.

The Grappa was Great-ta! BB was in heaven over that. I liked it too!! No blems on the fuel stuff... we were on a multi task mission. BTW- The living room of Iron Rose is awesome!

Ya know you wanted that truck to smell like dust... didn't ya? And since when was that truck of yours ever smelling minty fresh? Mine is a horrid toxic superfund site now... will take 11.5 months to clean. Just in time for 2007!

For those that heard the stories I am here to confirm their validity... all of them! We were swaggering about on Thursday night, grumbling that our enemies, the Norwegians of Camp Herring were not worthy of our ire and too easy to smite.

Just then we heard a blaring sound of what might have been the Norwegian National Anthem eminating from the largest hand held bullhorn we had ever seen. The herring were packed like sardines (sorry) in tight formation standing at full attention with salutes as crisp as their white naval uniforms (with short pants). We of Apokiliptika began to circle and plot until I remembered this was "The Great Truce and State Dinner" and Killbuck would have my head if I behaved wrongly.

The tension grew as the anthem neared its conclusion, and a sincere look of panic played accross the faces of our brave visitors. Had they walked into a trap? I readied the rally of a return salute on the count of three which was met by, and I mean this, the most genuine, joyful, and relieved smiles I have ever seen on human faces.

Killbuck then blustered forward to welcome them and announce the beginning of the festivities as there was much embracing and jocularity. We drank, exchanged gifts, and subsequently retired to Club Verboten where El Wire busted some outrages moves for a period of thirty seconds and otherwise led his troup to emerse themselves in fabulous glam rock and thoughfully presented breasts.

All hail our new allies, Camp Herring. All hail President A'Vie Omar Suarez. All hail Kernul Killbuck. You are all fucking doomed.

Yes we all had a blast! And to my short dance number, I was wearing slippers

and my foot was swollen and hurting from walking in wrong shoes.
But in 2008 I'll make sure to wear the right shoes for walking and dancing.

And while waiting for 2008 we'll be busy working in the Camp Herring lab with new revolutionary herring technology
that Kamp Apokiliptika will have full access to of course.
