"no topic"; main list"; "open discussion"; " bar thread " ; "page before the last page" thing too-

the headache AND the lack of homebrew, I mean..... Ya'll experiencing the same thing?!

OMG this is difficult....

Was a strange feeling to be in a store that had "Wizard of Oz" playing on a plasma screen... and it made me homesick for the playa.

Miss y'all.

<pulls out a glass, some orange juice and vodka>

Darn. I can't believe I have to go to work today....

<mixes a screwdriver. glances around the bar, then adds another shot of vodka to the drink>

Well, I'll just have the one drink, then head for work at the Department of Motor Vehicles.....

As long as you're not giving any driving tests BAS, I think you'll be alright. Save some vodka for later...

I'm sure the skeets have been shot, skinned, marinated, lightly broiled and served with your choice of excellent wine. I always look forward to skeet season.

Just got home a few minutes ago.......it was a lot of fun...........did well on the "low 7" position. I was actually consistently blowing the suckers apart. My problem was that the gun was really heavy and my wrists hurt holding it up. I shot about 80 rounds.

What's next? What can I do now? I need something else to keep me busy. HMMMMMMM, how about a nap? Yeah, that sounds good, a nap.

Trying to mow the yards and the mower keeps smoking like crazy. Guess I'll just put my things back in my BM boxes till next time.

Thanks again everyone for making my burn sweet as well as Zoom's. He says hi by the way. His boss just told him that he is not allowed to take any more vacations. What a bonehead. I told Zoom that there are laws regarding this and that he is owed vacations.

Peace and hugs to all!

Morning y'all

A bit sore today. Got my tattoo finished yesterday afternoon. Looks awesome! Pretty happy with how it turned out.

Shoulder/back/chest/arm/neck are sore as hell though. I can make it through one last heal. And I get to show off the finished work on a short camping trip this weekend in Santa Cruz, so well worth a day or two of pain.

Hope is well with y'all. Being monday morning and all ....

If he's not allowed to take vacations and is considered that critical to the business I'd damn sure be bringing that up when the next review comes around or it's time for a payraise.

And this time one week ago I was in Utah....and as much as SLC freaks me out I'd gladly take being out there over being at work right now.

well, this means i am off tribe crack awhile, which is probably good.

so how are people finding this topic now? when i go to the main listing of new topics, or click on the 'The Bar" which is usually showing on the main page i get the same 'No posts exist for this topic' message. the only way to get to this for me is start in "Year Round Connections" topic, then "Open Discussion" then click the next to last topic page number. when i click the last topic page number i get the same 'No posts..' message.

I don't know, but I did it. And it's damned disorientating to be back in my ebar after a month. I don't know if I recognize it any more.

Jeeeezzzzzzzzzz....

Look at all the dust in here. Looks like the place has been abandoned for a while. And that smell??...

>Looks over at Bunns-O-Matic coffee maker and power personal massage device<

ALL RIGHT NOW... Who left the coffee pot on while we were in an alternate universe??!! That's gonna be tough to clean out!! And the vibrators got left on? Without proper lube? Oh SHIT!!!

>Walks over, blows the dust off the top of the machine, sending tons of billowing dust skyward...<

We got the taps replumbed and running yet? I could use a Sierra Nevada Pale Ale while I attack the coffee pots and get this vibration unit back up and running... Maybe chased with a 5th of Makers.

Good to be home.

That's exactly how I've been doing it. I noticed (before the board took its two-week vacation) that the last page will occasionally exist again, leading me to wonder if it isn't something to do with the number of comments per page. I remember that it was cranked up a while ago, due to the volume of comments, but if it fixes the last page bug, I'd deal.

Sadly, tho, with the other place, this ol' joint just don't seem the same. Don't know what it is, but ya know??

Maybe I'm just rusty. Maybe it's just rusty?

My truck is rusty, but it now has mechanical gauges. Some more fun new parts tomorrow in Vegas. Plus some flat tan spray paint. And some whiskey. And cat food.

* a crumpled up pile of fabric covered in dust moves slightly causing tiny avalanches of dust to flow to the floor creating tiny clouds of dust that drift lazily towards the bar ,...

Suddenly the never ending blanket moves a lot and Zule sits up in a cloud of dust*

I Need a drink,.. ah but not one of those whiskey and cat foods ,..I’ll have just a beer,

Just got back from BevMo; Chocolate Martinis all around!

Helitack, what is up with Dark Skies? You are in Vegas? First no ice, and now no propane effects? What is left, it is just a rave and a party? Which will probably still be a bunch of fun, and it will make my packing a lot easier.

Or maybe I should just go to Black Rock over the weekend instead? And bring lots of propane?
