sure. and those are beer stains ....

I gotta believe your customers appreciate your laid-back, beer-drinking, boxer-sporting attitude. Or are you a tighty whitey kind of guy?

How about email access?

Post by gyre » Thu Sep 28, 2006 3:07 pm

Hello, everybody!
Got any Kalashnikov vodka?

I was happy to find the eplaya bar at brc and very surprised.
I always thought it was an elaborate internet joke. Was I alone in that, I wonder?
Lovely to meet so many of you. Two weeks is way too short for a burn.

When I tried to get on here, it still tells me-no such posts exist. I flipped through some early pages to get on. It finally worked. or??
May I suggest more of you add email access to your profile.
It has been very frustrating wanting to write you guys and realizing I had no email address for most of you and with no eplaya---

the juxtaposition of "bone" and "turkey" in the same sentence sends the rooster into a trance-like state, which is uninterrupted by beer swigs

.... looked outside the hotel window and saw this place:

Image

a theatre in downtown Oslo.

Ya! and did you know that I 3 år har Jenny Jenssen turnert med familieforestillingen Jennys Jul rundt omkring i Norge.

Mozy: When I first arrived at the eplaya bar camp you opened a special bottle and poured me a shot....I can't remember the name of the stuff. I know you said it was aged for a very long time and then sailed around the world. I may not remember the name but I'd like to try and find a bottle of it around here...if you know what I'm referring to let me know.

I didn't use a PM to ask as I want others to find out about some extraordinary stuff.

Fishy,
I was talking of adding the email option thing to your eplaya profile.
It doesn't show your email address to anyone unless you write back.
You can always not respond. I've had no problem with spam myself.
Of course, if eplaya goes down again, those without your address can't write, but when the pm wasn't working the email option worked just dandy.

Did the bar camp really start as a joke?
So many things did around here.

I don't think it was a joke, and I don't know that the idea of making it into a camp started as a joke, but I was sort of trying to get to the idea (which I think is close to the truth) that it started and built on itself and got more complicated and we didn't know it would come to fruition.

Mozy,
Can you clarify your instructions?
When I post I get booted off.
Right now I can't access the next page.
All I get is no such post.
It seems to only be a problem on longer threads.

Gyre, it seems to happen after the current page gets half full.
Just know, if you get the message, you have to open the previous page to see the most current post.

OK, but it's a secret wormhole, so don't share it publicly..... :)
