Critical balls?
Critical balls?
Is there a CB (Critical Balls) parade too? Why not?
Darn! I actually came across Critical Dicks, but I can't recall what day it was! (I got shouted at to take my clothes off and join them, but wasn't feeling up to it. Besides, I know *I* wouldn't want to see me naked!

I ran into Critical Dicks one year did let myself get drawn into it. While I have walked the playa naked a lot, I wasn't sure how it would feel to be part of a group of naked men making a thing out of being naked, so (with more self-indulgence than BAS allows himself) I took off my playa duds and joined in the walk. A complete surprise: I felt more naked in the group of naked men than I ever have on those occasions when I happened to be the only naked person in Center Camp.BAS wrote:Darn! Critical Dicks this year was on Thursday. We started from the Man, walked out 3:00 to the Esplanade, up to Center Camp, then back to 9:00 and back to the Man. My rough guess is that we were close to 100 dicks (including a few artificial ones hosted by women, and one giant green one).
It was fun, and my own feeling is that we got a friendly reception. It was definitely NOT a camera free zone, but I don't think that any of us expected it to be. And I felt much more at ease than I expected to be. One more false barrier blown to shit! Hooray!
I missed the Naked Bike Ride on Wednesday, though.

Ah! It was the naked bike ride I came across, then! (Hey, this was my first year! I can't be expected to know one from the other....I missed the Naked Bike Ride on Wednesday, though.
I spent the entire time low on energy due to a sinus infection and broncitis (sp?), so the idea of doing anything requiring any energy was very unappealling-- much less something like going naked even if it was somewhere where naked is accepted. (Culture taboos and all....
Maybe another year, whenever I can afford to go again. (@#$%!!! gas prices! Need to get serious on finding an alternative!)
Hmmm. If I ever do participate, I have GOT to remember my sunblock! Based on how burned my face got, there are certain parts of me I DON'T WANT TO GET BURNED!!!
