HMMMMMMMM
get the fuck off this list!
I have not said much in here. However, advertisement blogs are just fucking creepy.

Gary: Thanks for the PM. Normally I reply via PM but I'll take this one public. The reason your post generated a backlash is because of BM's no-commercialism policy. The eplaya is an extension of BRC and the way I have always intrepreted it, the "rules" of BRC extend here.
You offer some interesting products that many burners might be interested in. The eplaya is a great medium for getting your message out and the temptation to use it is hard to resist. However....if you make a post like this and it flies in the face of the BM no commercialism policy, be prepared for heavy return fire. Your lucky, it's still the middle of the day and the "heavy hitters" haven't found your post. But when they do I expect this to look like an all out rocket barrage heading your way. I wouldn't want to be on the receiving end of it...and I know it's coming. I'm actually surprised the strikeback hasn't already begun.
Again all of this is just my opinion and we all know how those can vary. Still I'd reconsider that post.....
My feeling is the majority will want the eplaya to remain a commercial free zone. They already scream about shameless plugs on the Jack Rabbit Speaks....with this crowd bringing ads to the eplaya would be even worse. Now if you'll excuse me, I think I'm going to move well clear of the freefire zone that's about to develop....

Also, if you are going to spam us with a website, could you at least make it a half way decent one? I mean your site:
1. Has not been modified in almost a year (since January 2003)
2. Has no prices listed
3. Has no way to purchase any products via the internet (basically it's an ad for stuff, without prices, with no way to order them, how convenient!)
4. Has more broken links than ones that work
5. Is "Under Construction" (call us when it's fixed, on second thought, don't).
I don't mind people posting links on the eplaya for stuff that
1. People ask about (i.e. does anyone know where I can buy patches?)
2. For sites that actually work and have an appeal to Burners.
3. From people who contribute to the community
