Diversion - Portland Decompression

This is a shout-out to all burners, theme camps, musical acts, performance artists, clowns, fire spinners, etc!

The Portland decompression party, "Diversion", is set to blast off on October 21st at City Repair's huge new cathedral warehouse space at 3810 N. Mississippi Avenue. Prepare to have your minds blown! The preliminary planning is going smoothly and we already have some wonderful DJs and musicians on board, but we are still booking for it and are open to contributions from installation artists and musical acts and performers in the community. Do you have something you'd like to share with the rest of us? Have a theme camp that would like to be a presence at this event? Have a ready workshop that you'd like to lead? Event runs 3:00 pm to 7:00 for all ages. Then 7:00 to 4:00 am is over 21 only. Tickets are $12 pre-event and $15 the day of.

I have a solar powered robot -flora- that has a live PA and lighting on it that I would love to bring. I can get you photos, or video from the playa or symbiosis. Depending on her mood, she might range from sci fi ambient to tech funk with departures into nina simone and morphine. She has wheels and can easily move about.
