I strongly disagree. Life experiences have a way of forcing change on us. You grow older and usually wiser and that comes into play. You have or adopt kids and that can change it. You can have something bad happen and it shakes you up enough that you swear off something and change that way. People certainly do change. Is it a complete a total change? No...but many of the leopard's spots can disappear over time.

Those spots only fade to white as we age..They are still there.. Even the spots earned on the streets as a kid.. Once you earn a spot, it's there forever. Maybe not as bright as the others but.

SB, the last paragraph was to get a point across that the days of the 3playans ripping into me without repercussions are over. Also since it's going to come down I know from 4 years of dealing with that group how things get spun out of control and boomeranged back on me. A PM is not the most effective way of preventing that backlash, therefore it went public. Is it right? No. I consider it protecting my interests. The ends justify the means for me..and I don't expect universal agreement on it.

As for the Marci thing I don't know who she is other than someone that posted a downright nasty rant in the 3playa technical comments thread. I haven't posted over there in months but I was upset by it enough to break my silence and tell her that she overstepped. I feel that Precip's proposal to require email addresses on profiles was reasonable and actually overdue, I require it on my board so I quickly pasted in an address to comply, end of issue.

Also if I have an issue with most of the 3playans I know how to contact them directly as I did this week with Precip. I sent her an apology for some things I've done in the past. I expected a snarky reply so I put her on my hotmail spam list with a filter to auto-delete the reply....and she posted a peeve about it today so I know the message got through. I'm trying to clean up my act and fly right...that means aggressively stomping on those who won't accept that I'm trying to really change things. Either they work with me, stay out of the way, or if they try to pull me down like Booker did, I'll kick them out of the way. That's my take on it.
