Glowing hair

http://www.voltagehairgel.com/

It is called a hair coloring but it really just coats the hair with glowing particles, so it doesn't dye.

:-> If I had any hair to put it on, I'd give it a try. Maybe Louise can demonstrate it for us at the next burn.

It'll work on any surface from what I can tell. Just spread it on your skin and let it be.

My point exactly...50 cents to my name...Image

Though that "buy three, get one free" for $27 seems pretty good. How big are the units, though? What does the money buy?

I sent them an email and asked for the amount of the contents in each container, how many uses one might expect from each container, and why the girl in the label is staring at her armpit.

Details on iGlow

Post by phil » Mon Oct 30, 2006 1:07 pm

I got a quick response back on the questions I emailed in -

3/4 ounce in each container - the guys says up to three people can share it, depending. They used to sell larger containers, but people complained they weren't using it all, and the excess was wasted.

NOTE: There are 2 chemicals in the container. They only glow when mixed, and when mixed, they glow - so you can't store and re-use the contents. This means it's a single-use container. Once you've mixed up the contents, that's the amount you have to use or to waste.

The guy answering my question has no idea why she's staring at her armpit.

I've ordered for Louise and me, and we'll see if we can get a picture of ourselves looking at our armpits in glowing hair or scalp, as the case may be.

Great. Now I have the image of glowing armpits stuck in my head! (Earlier today, it was "God Save The Queen" by the Sex Pistols, tonight it will be glowing armpits-- I can't win! :P )

Well, maybe after I recover from the US$800+ I (mostly unexpectedly) dumped into my car, I can consider getting some of this stuff.

Hmmm. Hair glowing one color, body another... :) ...and armpits a third! :?

this stuff was pretty gross. like, really sticky and didn't feel nice in your hair. also, the glow is pretty faint. you'd need 3 containers to get your glowing nicely, and that's a LOT of goop in your hair. plus, it's difficult to get out of your hair.

Get it out of your hair? Why would you do that?

Got2Be has a glowing gel called 'shocking' however its only activated with black light and you have to put tons of it in.

Phosphoresent (sp?) and luminesent(sp?) paints and body spreads are extremely hard to work with and are often dissapointing either you have to put it on so thick that it weighs everything down or crack off, or it just doesn't work. If anyone finds one that really works let me know I love the stuff (when it works)
