Pterosail recumbent trikes

I'm not sure these would be legal at Burning Man, given the experience with landsail vehicles, but these recumbent trikes use sails to give you an assist and have electric motors for when both the wind and you die out.

If you go a reasonable speeds and can remain in control no one will say anything, and if they do and you KNOW you are being reasonable and not kicking up dust or endangering anyone then give them the bird, smile, and keep going.

There is no need for rules if we all behave reasonably. Don't be obnoxious and consider if everyone did what you are doing would people think it was obnoxious. Cars driving around is obnoxious so they made rules to please the majority.

Saw a guy on roller blades with a sail in 05. The blades had extra large wheels. The sail was about 50 feet in the air. He was realy going and seemed to have good control. The sail looked like the parachutes they used at BM but smaller. He was able to travel in any direction.

Might have been a kite, unjon. I've seen guys with kites and surfboards out in the San Francisco Bay speeding up and down the water.

If you can steer & brake on a dime, and keep the speed down, should be okay wrt to using it inside the fence. Otherwise, go out the airport gate. Looks like a rolling advertisement, though.
