At the end of the burn this year I was taking down camp and had a pair of side cutters I would use to cut zip ties and put in my pocket between uses . Some where along the way i must have acquired some kind of chocolate that also went into the pocket, maybe the night before when it was cool enough it wouldn’t melt. The result was a pair of chocolate covered side cutters, I left in Mozy’s Vehicle when he dropped me off at the Reno Airport.. last week I found a package in the mail that contained the side cutters and for some reason it struck me as being really funny. like some kind of holiday gifting tradition I hadn’t known about. I mean giving people chocolate covered tools for thanksgiving doesn’t seem any lest probable that eggnog.
though I don’t think I’d eat the covering off of the side cutters and I would drink an eggnog ,..... how about one right now?

Certainly none of us would ever say that the penis is the greatest biological advance in the history of life on earth. It's just that they typically come attached to a man, and then things get complicated.

Sput did the coaster take anything major to get it
going or was every thing still basically ready to go?
I love seeing that thing and I’ve never rode on it.

Z, the coaster has been setup at the theatre bizarre site for more than a year now. Getting it going is just a matter of starting the engine on the winch. The really amazing thing is that this is basically setup 10 feet off the road and in full view of the Detroit State Fair grounds.

complete with the dance cages? it’s one of the most impressive
post-apocalyptic theatrical pieces I’ve seen and goes oh so well
with thunder dome, in creating an at the edge of civilization feel.

Yep, dance cages and all. It's sort of crowded into the site, but it fits.

I was lucky enough to have to climb up to the top to free the winch because it got stuck. I love being up there, especially as the car is coming up.

I Hate to sound like a jaded old timer but I do kind of fear
that sometimes manic feeling of the gathering of the tribes
on the edge of chaos vibe will be lost with the greening of
Burning Man.

I totally agree Z. I need to talk Ken into taking the coaster out again. I hear he was interested but didn't think he had a big enough crew to handle it last year.
