The worst thing about shit-talkers is they almost never say anything to your face, choosing to hide instead out of cowardice thinly disguised as politeness.
The second worst thing is that most people who talk shit have little or no real knowledge of the person they're using up their free time and brain power to discuss.
Are you popular? Well-known? Merely infamous? Do you find yourself answering questions asked by people you barely know or do not know, yet they cannot cease talking shit about you? Do you ever wonder why the hell other people are so damn interested in your life? Are you occasionally the subject of an ex-boy/girlfriend's ire and they just can't shut up about what an awful person they think you are, but yet have no sense of their own role in the dissolution of the relationship, etc.?
I'm taking a consensus.
