Looking to Dj at Burning Man events.

Post by trashinu » Tue Dec 26, 2006 4:16 pm

I'm looking for anyone interested for a Progressive Trance DJ in a camp or at any of the upcoming Burning Man parties. I am new to Burning Man and will be attending the New Years Party in Seattle. I'm DJ'ing heavily in the Seattle area with upcoming shows in LA and LV. I am also a Resident DJ on Seattle's c89.5 FM. If anyone is interested or knows of someone I can contact it will be greatly appreciated. To see my page and style go to www.myspace.com/djtraviscolvin or www.thedjlist.com/dj/TRAVIS_COLVIN/

This is something I am very interested in doing and will stand behind my word if booked.
Thanks for any help,
Travis Colvin

booked = $, ticket, or the like?

booked = handshake, "stop on by dude", or the like?

To soon brotha, there will be a section (under theme camps I belive) where peeps can post that they can either play, or are looking for people to play at their installations... but as far as the playa is concerned, its a handshake, and come on by dude kinda situation, so you gotta get yourself out there, no ticky no washy...
Feeling ill, not balanced, to down, to up, ahh yes the alchemy of trance is there for you, allways.

I think that is an AWESOME idea! I never thought to have DJs at burningman! Damn, why didn't someone think of that sooner? Just think of all the possibilities ... man ... you could have DJs working in shifts and dance camps that run 24 hours a day. Holy crap, what a GREAT idea!
