my favoite Bm piece was the finger hole.
It was a lit up board with all sorts of buzzers, and things. You push buttons and shit lights up, squeaks etc.
Theres one little hole towards the bottom, just far enough out of the way that you have to bend over and put your face close to the board to get too. When you stick your finger in to push the button it does two things.
it spray paints your finger black.then squirts you in the face, through a tiny 1/16inch hole or so with water.
The best part is you had to go out of your way to do it to yourself.
Favorite bit of trickery?

Oh hell... I wish I'd seen this. No, better... I wish I'd built it!mdmf007 wrote:my favoite Bm piece was the finger hole.

Let's see...
Night of the burn, 97. My first time. Quite late after the burn, wandering back to center camp, stopped with some other people at a burn barrel. We were chatting about the experience. One guy seemed to know some of the history. Told us the now famous though discredited story about how the first burn had something to do with Larry Harvey getting over a breakup with his girlfriend. The other guy was some sort of macho guy Larry couldn't compete with.
The story teller was dressed in the now famous white jumpsuit and stetson.
So was it Larry pulling our legs by talking in the third person about himself and making up a story?
Or someone else pretending to be Larry?
I'll never know. I didn't know about Larry's customary playa attire till much later.
Either way, an excellent jape.
