According to Douglas Adams, the only way to make one in earths atmosphere is to pour 2 shots of evey liquor available together, then double distill it.

Well, then we need to get to work. Empty everything from the bar into the bathtub, mix it up and then pour it into the still. You did bring a still, didn't you?

Whistle While We Work... Whistle While We Work.....

Post by Rabbi Dali Rick » Thu Jan 11, 2007 11:04 am

Morning...

Still in the desert, but will be leaving about 12 to head back to the city. Working Friday to prep a truck for Monday, but I will be driving back home Friday night.

I don't remember if I told you, but about a 3 weeks or so ago, I wrecked my car in an accident, and I just picked up a 87 Jeep Wagoneer 4x4 replacement car, Whoo Hooo...

Went 4x-ing back in the back hills on my property, Monday, and boy has it opened up, the desert for me. It is so cool to go way back up in the hills. Unfortunatly the insurance only wants to pay $500 for my old Tarus Wagon and they said the accident is 15% my fault. Bullshit I say, the other guy was driving a $40,000 car that I also will be responsible for 15% of his lost, read that as $6,000. So I'm on a quest to provide them with more info on the site to prove that it was the other guys fault 100%. Keep your fingers crossed...

I need a f**king drink!!!

How is everybody this morning?

anybody out there know how to get rid of a racoon in the attic?
No, for real I'm gonna loose my mind because it's thumping around up there like a really big racoon. I think I'm gonna have to call a critter ridder in the morning, but if anyone knows of a cheaper way I would appreciate your knowledge. PLEASE.
Somebody said the it couldn't be done, But he with a chuckle replied that maybe it couldn't but he wouldn't say so until he had tried.

Trap, and then you need to find the place it got in from.

What kind of trap? Are there such things as racoon traps? Or do I just get a really big rat trap? Sorry, I don't know nuthin' about wild life, I'm a real city woman.

Standard live trap should work.

Sometimes the local police or animal control will provide them for free for a short time.

LIVE TRAP. I dunno, that would mean that I would have to have to carry the trap with the live animal down an attic ladder. Okay, that helps, I'm callin' a critter ridder. I'll have to pay somebody to do that.

Somewhere there is a hole big enough for a coon to get through. You need ot find it or you'll have more.

ETA: If we meet at TTITD this year, promise to have a chop ready for me.

yeah I know. I had one last year about this time, but I don't think it was as large as this one. I think that one came in through the make-shift tornado shelter in front of the crawl space entrance and simmied up inside the wall.

I'll bring the chops if you bring the wine.

Racoons like marshmellows.
You can use those as bait in a live-trap.
However, SOME racoons are fucking brilliant
and seem to be un-trappable. You may have to wait until nighttime when they leave, or chase them out and seal the entrance after they leave. Good luck, and once they are gone
you`ll have lot`s of little racoon droppings to pick up.
NOTE: I`ve had this happen before, ...BEWARE of mother racoons with young...they will come after ass if they feel threatened.

So true, and they can shread a 150 lb dog by playing dead, the dog thinks like its dead stands over it and then those lil'buggers rip out the underside of your beloved pet...oh and they eat cats!
Good luck...but I would say put a dish of crackers and a dish of water(water important to this trap) at sunset approx. 30 ft from possible opening it gets in from... then after it gets dark...the lil'bugger will go after the new found food source, try to sit there and wash its food in the water...very funny to watch, you could then seal off the opening with the coon on the outside!

"worse case senerio" seal off the entrance while ITS in the attic...wait till there isnt any more noise and go up and gather the dead carcus before it stinks up the joint!

I had to pull out an old oragnizer...I just cant keep all my ART shit straight anymore! Someone sugested I get a black berry...hah...I dont even own a cell phone...by choice!
Names pinemom, but my friends call me "Piney".
