Mercy. I need something hot and strong, maybe a toddy...something to warm my toes.
It`s not even noon. It`s pouring down sleet, my jeep is already covered in 1/4" of ice,...warnings about travel and power failures.
...and this is supposed to go on all weekend. Freezing rain, sleet and snow.

...this is going to be interesting.

Ugh. Good luck with that weather, EDB! We're supposed to be having some nastiness come through here, hopefully not that bad. (I really SHOULD be paying closer attention to the forecast, I can't stay in Saturday-- got to go take a State test somewhere.)

Thanks BAS. I just loaded a couple gallons of water, and a box
with kippers, chocolate, and assorted other goodies into the jeep

...just in case.

I'd go with the critter ridder option. You have pork chops to make. And a drink to drink.

They're predicting today is going to be "a stinker" in Perth - over 100 degrees. Things certainly are different down here. Summer in winter, cars on the wrong side of the road, women cut sideways. Actually I have yet to verify the latter, unfortunately.

Cool as I recall the generic yellow and black labeled BEER wasn’t that bad, the white and black BEER wasn’t as good , but would get you there.

There is something particularly enjoyable about drinking Fosters out of the big can, but I’m easily amused when I’m drinking.

It should be a funny night, then. Let me crack open the Old GrandDad's. OK, I'm listening.

drinking the generic BEER always made me feel like I'd broke in and stolen somebody's fallout shelter supplies. It went well with government commodity cheese,

Nice to see you Jewel***,... so Bin what's this I hear about you standing under some willows in the southwest instead of making it to the event this year, sounds like your being a little to fiscally responsible.

I've been "working from home" this week, but not enough discipline to really do it. mope mope mope. We were told not to come to the office this week due to lack of work - Cingular's construction projects just dried up, bah. Now they'll spend all their money rebranding to AT&T instead of actually improving their network. mope mope mope.
