...I sure had a lot more fun in 1997 than I've had at recent burns. We still had mud, we still had kiddie pools, and we still had fire. Remember those?

What about the grasslands in Montana, wyoming, kansas, colorado? that would be cool too.
That reminds me, in '97, we ended up having to pay a fortune for fire protection as much of the camp area was in grass, and the fire could spread to the hills nearby..

Yeah and we had freaking slip n slide in 96, cast of hundreds.

Well, thanks for a good time. :)
After half a day of showering all comers with water, a huge mud pit began engulfing us. Hundreds of participants came to sit, wallow, swim, splash, slide, and wrestle naked in the playa mud, taking on the aspect of pale green goblins. Every hour or two in the afternoon we hosed everyone down with a cool spray of water. A ripping good time was had by all.
