DF, consider this my last post directed towards you. This thread shows me your true colors, and I want nothing more to do with you. Period. I'm not even going to respond with a plonk to your future posts like Iso and Badger are doing...I'm going to flat out ignore you. I feel I have tried in good faith to understand you and each time I try I fall flat on my face. Enough.

If you contribute items of substance to the eplaya task force I will keep my personal biases out of it and offer open minded responses...I want this board to be a success and you or no one else will step in my way of that. But on the board itself, you will not exist to me. And I'm sure others will join me very quickly in doing the same.

So with that, goodbye Tony, and good luck earning the trust, respect, and attention of the eplaya community. Right now...those are things you don't have. And you know how to get them back and if community is not important to you, might I suggest that a BM themed board is not for you either. You obviously missed the whole point of why this is here.

Yes, I do.

You do pretty well as Mr. Klean's faithful boy wonder.

Have a nice day.

I would like to give it a try. Here goes.

I love when things get out of control for control freaks. This is epescially true for my b/f. When I have my g/f over he automatically thinks the three of us are going to get together. (in his dreams)

My brother is a control freak. I just love it sometimes seeing his face when he cant get his way.

How is that?

Yes, I understand you.

You consider yourself as an intellectual provocateur whose cryptic, but prolific, postings provide a catalyst for fomenting intelligent culture and discourse.

As a "meta-thinker" you are often misunderstood by even the most intelligent of the intellectual community you serve, precisely because you eschew the normal methods of contribution, (content, wit, considered opinion, spelling), and instead focus on a relationship of misunderstood service.

Not unlike a feudal lord protecting his serfs, you must sometimes make hard decisions that protect and promote the kingdom. Sure, the peasantry and minor gentry may complain about the bodies and blood, but that is simply because they lack your lofty perspective. Your eye is on the larger issues that affect every man, woman and child in creation.

It's a lonely road, <sigh>, but you are capable of great sacrifice in the service of your flock.

That's how *you* understand yourself. Here is *my* take:

You are the guy who runs around this room flapping his wings and farting and believes that he is flying.

Don Muerto - your words are too elegant a repast for someone who will probably miss all of the flavorful nuances.

Thanks Don. Flashes of brilliance like your above post are what I miss so much about this board.

Though the e-playa seems crippled at times I have hope that some of the cows will come back to pasture here on occasion. Maybe we'll see more of that when certain Pretenders to the Throne get slapped enough times with the Clue Bat(TM)

swoon!

Don Muerto - That post was good enough to get me to stop lurking and send you my compliments. It's probably one of my favorite eplaya posts ever. And the standards for great posts have been pretty high at times on this board. (Though not of late.) I might even have to head over to the "Crushes" folder to declare my admiration for you.

Troll food like that is welcome reading. Thanks!

Sounds like you have a lot of the same pettiness in your heart as those you describe. Perhaps you and the fuckwit originator of this thread should get together and talk shop. Perhaps you already do, in front of your bathroom mirror.

That was a really a, um, off the wall reply.

Sounds like something De Facto would have said.

Yeah, too bad.
