 I got the voices in my head mad at me, and they quit talking to me! I guess I should turn on the radio or put some music on.... :?

This.

( and he is a Marin boy.)

I do not want this

I'm losing ground
Well you know how this world can beat you down
And I'm made of clay
I fear I'm the only one who thinks this way
I'm always falling down the same hill
Bamboo puncturing this skin
And nothing comes bleeding out of me just like a waterfall I'm drowning in
2 feet below the surface I can still make out your wavy face
And if I could just reach you maybe I could leave this place

I do not want this
I do not want this
I do not want this
I do not want this

And don't you tell me how I feel
Don't you tell me how I feel
Don't you tell me how I feel
You don't know just how I feel

I stay inside my bed
I have lived so many lives all in my head
And don't tell me that you care
There really isn't anything. Now is there?
You would know. Wouldn't you?
You extend your hand to those who suffer
To those who know what it really feels like
To those who have had a taste
Like that means something
And oh so sick I am
And maybe I don't have a choice
And maybe that is all I have
And maybe this is a cry for help

I do not want this
I do not want this
I do not want this
I do not want this

And don't you tell me how I feel
Don't you tell me how I feel
Don't you tell me how I feel
You don't know just how I feel

I want to know everything
I want to be everywhere
I want to fuck everyone in the world
And [1,2,3] I want to do something that matters

Looking for Outer Space beeps, blips, synth pads, washes...

ambient stuff for the backwash of the new Labwerks theme camp.

If you know of any websites that have lots of that for free then it will fun just within our budget.

I thought those lyrics sounded familar..., the Killers are in regular rotation on one of the radio stations I frequently listen to-- and for the weekend they are playing blocks of songs by various artists. I'll bet they played that one while I was listening yesterday.

All of which reminds me: it is time to turn the radio on!

For my 2000+ mile drive I bought a c.d. player, and one of those adapter kits to hook it up to the tape deck and cigarrette lighter and took my entire c.d. collection. I wound up listening to almost the whole thing!

For Christmas my brother bought me 1G mp3 player, but I can't get my c.d.s to upload onto my computer so I can put them on the player. :? The player would certainly take up less room than the c.d. player and c.d.s....

Sorry, I can't afford any donations right now! (Though I AM taking donations! I want to buy an old, transit style school bus I have been eyeing on a web site for a place down in Illinois. The thing would make a great camper!)

A song that says it all!!!

Funny this was always one of my personal faves, Then upon exudus...with burningman radio playing, THIS CAME ON, moving ever so slowly, through my tears I think I REALLY heard the words for the first time, I mean I knew the words...but I guess till I'd been at burningman they never made TRUE sense!!!!!!!!!

Names pinemom, but my friends call me "Piney".

Good video, PineMom.

Now the voices in my head are telling me I should have been more active in the protests leading up to our current war! (Darn! I hope I outlive W so I can go and piss on his grave!)

P.S.: I am currently listening to Public Radio discuss something called "Prosper.com". It sounds like another one of those "Why didn't *I* think of it" ideas! It is a peer to peer method of loaning money.

Sirius Satellite Radio: Area 33: Perfect On Tour / Paul Oakenfold LIVE!

I'm not a big fan of Oakenfold but his Pink Floyd Comfortably Numb remixed track is something extraordinary.
