I most certainly did not vote for BUSH! I voted against him both times. Now, how my vote got recorded, I can't say....
(Grumble. Canada is still using paper ballots, and they have a much higher accuracy rate in their tallies than we do! SHEESH!)*
Anyway, I at least ATTEMPTED to vote for Gore the first time, and Kerry the second. Currently I am leaning towards Obama, but it is still too soon for me to decide for certain.

*and, yes, I have considered moving to there, or New Zealand, or Australia, or Venezula....

How could I forget about the Florida election mess?mojo wrote:Arch - not all of your candidates actually lost - some just didn't get put into office.....
Anyway CNN is reporting that Giuliani is putting his hat in for the GOP side. That will definitely shake things up as far as the competition goes.
Blind loyalty is more of a Republican thing. I would likely vote for John Edwards over (unnamed republican) but that doesn't mean I'm going to cheer for him during the primaries. I want to actually pick the best candidate instead of letting the media and political parties decide who is more connected and marketable.Apollonaris Zeus wrote:I bet each one of you voted for BUSH!
Edit- LOL it wouldn't let me put in "unnamed republican" with brackets around it. Had to change to ()

Probably more than you suspect.joel the ornery wrote:pardon me?
what would you know of being a republican?
Would you like to argue that Republicans haven't been using blind loyalty to their advantage the last 12 years? It played a major part in their elections and the bills they've pushed through. It's not an exclusively Republican thing, but they've been much more effective at cultivating it.
