Dear Patience
Dear Patience,
Last night I was at a party where the conversation was good, the drinks flowed steadily, the hostess was swell and everyone seemed to 'click.'
It was great.
Half way through the evening, two of the three dogs that were in the house started talking to me in a special, 'secret' way that only I could hear or understand. One of them even suggested that I might pour gas on myself while smoking a cigarette in order to liven up the conversation.
Needless to say I decided agaist this idea as I wasn't sure what proper etiquette suggests in a mixed company situation when self-immolation is the issue.
My question to you is:
Should I have given the the dogs the remaining lamb from the evenings dinner rather than making them wait until the morning? And, should I have shared my secret conversations with my friend R-Pod?
Still confused,
Iso
