Theme Camp Seeks Women... IN SPACE!!!

Post by Mister Jellyfish Mister » Sun Jan 28, 2007 8:34 pm

Labwërks is a new theme camp satellite of the well established Apokiliptika (visit www.Apokiliptika.com). We are assigned to do oven mitt research for the people...IN SPACE!

Now that the male component of the crew has been recruited, we are looking for three females to join our camp and begin testing for the voyage to Burning Man 2007.

Because of our ties to Apokiliptika and Club Verboten, we are hoping for prime placement between them near the Esplanade. As one of our seven member crew, you will have rights to host your own theme night, shower, private bathrooms, and will be around fun, positive people with a wry sense of humor. We welcome your art if it is mostly white in color and spacey in theme.

If you hope to camp with a friend at Burning Man, she must also pass the rigorous testing for you both to be selected.

You must be willing to work as hard as you play, wear space costumes that you bring yourself, have a sense of theater for oddball skits that last under a minute, enjoy poking fun at communist regimes, and love, love, love EVERYTHING ABOUT SPACE!

To apply, please send me a Private Message (PM) telling why you think you would fit in to such an embarrassing eastern block failure...IN SPACE!

As a peace loving and fraternal sister state of LabWerks we wish a glorious new dawn for space research under the stalwart and vigilant auspices of Comrade Jellyfish and his State approved toilers.

We salute his open and candid post.Certainly all fair minded people can understand the need for some bias here.

For those of you intrigued by the invitation we urge revolutionary and progressive action on your part. One doubts you could find a better situation anywhere at The Project if of course you love..... SPACE.

And do you forget that the simian part of the crew has also been selected, and placed above us? A monkey piloting the experimental spacecraft, while us men are left behind doing....oven mitt research? Oh the indignity! Oh the inhumanity! If I had any paper to write on, I would compose a sternly written letter to the Kernul, but as it is I must limit myself to this elektronic medium....

For those that perhaps would otherwise toil in ignorance, comrade Jellyfish is one half of the team that has brought to the Playa "Miniman" and "ManTis", and this year is working on another glorious artpiece, this time interactive. His camp this year is sure to be a magical place, and is associated with a group of camps (including the old Eplaya Bar Camp) that are sure to be an anchor for the 3 oclock plaza. If you can beg, borrow, or steal a space suit, and have a quirky sense of humor, this camp may be for you.

Is confused, vhat are these DIAPERS you speak of? I think not oven mitts, nyet? Perhaps you speak of Tang reclamation filters, which we use in spacesuits and allow to eek out daily ration of erzats-Tang. Is topic of conversation that is not appropriate outside of Labwerks satellite. First rule of Labwerks: do not speak of Tang reclamation filters to outsiders.

Just because we have been in space since 1974, does not mean that I can't identify the enemy of our mothership, Apokiliptika.

Alas, I have only oven mitts and test tubes up here. Perhaps if I aim carefully at you, Irish Peace Keeper... FROM SPACE!
