Kiwiburn - NZ's Regional Burning Man event

Post by kyla » Tue Dec 12, 2006 1:14 am

Kiwiburn 4 is taking place from 9-12 February 2007. Come join us at Whakamaru Reserve, Mangakino in the beautiful land of Aotearoa. This year the theme is 'Megamorphosis', as Kiwiburn has transformed in many ways and this year looks to be bigger and better and prettier than ever before! At the moment we are seeking fire/burn control volunteers - please contact us if you are interested.

For more information, ticket purchasing, art installation registrations and theme camp registrations, please visit http://www.kiwiburn.com.

Looking forward to kiwi burn. Thinking of doing a couchsurfing theme camp if we can get enough people involved. How many burners are expected?

G/Day, Kiwi Kidz, from Hagey, the Grand Poobah of the World-Famous, New-and-Improved, Black Rock International Burner Hostel. I suspect, and hope, that a LOT of our Kiwi Campmates, including the entire Hankins Posse, will help plan this event, show up for it, pitch in to make it happen, and maybe even help to erase the evidence and put the toys away, afterwards. I probably won't make it there THIS year, but I WILL next year! Hugs and Slobberry Sloppy-Wet Full-Body Cow Kisses!

And, IF I decided to SPLURGE and come to the KiwiBurn, who would I see there?

Fred,

Good to see you pop up. Don't know about most of the folks though Morgan and Narelle are currently in London. She's at the London School of Economics and Morgan is working at some large EU bank thing. I'll pass on your hellos.

Hiya, Kyla! (And BADGER too, of course!) Thanks for sharing, but I already know where those two couples are. However, who knows, somebody might not be able to resist the temptation and book a flight there. Ain't that what credit cards or for? I'm ALSO feeling very tempted, and weighing the pros and cons of being so extravagant...

BURNT!
Ummm... he's not joking. Black Rock on Steroids. 'Bout Right. It's what makes those Kiwis so dangerous - all the UV has shorted out their brains...

Don't ask how I know this... but if you go get a good base tan. like 2 weeks naked in Maui base tan. It'll make the sunburn less painful...

(If you guys make me go now and get my pasport renewed... Grrr...)

its not just the scale burners that can read these things, i see that some of these Apokiliptikans seem to be interested in this kiwi movement o_O, which is very understandable of course

i sense that some of them are trying hard to fight against the brainwahing that they have once fallen victim to... its time to start recruiting for Kiwi Burn 08 ; )

Nope...... Human Bombs.

She is so devoted, but I talked her out of it... she is too vital to the cause.

We'll send Norwegians.

We were thinking more like necessary invasion...

Would give chance to see some of Komrades from FAR back, also is prime opportunity for to start recruiting YOU to *our* side of wall, darlink...

Like some of "compatriots" of "yours"... Is fair to warn is not just loyal Norweigan Komrades who have seen warm embrace of doom...

You know, Hana Darlink, we *still* are to have an opening or few for subversive double agents... heh heh heh... You can in the glorious fight of annihilation to join our dear... um... "komrades"...
