Stanford Course: 'Alternative Art in the Bay Area'

Post by Badger » Sat Feb 24, 2007 6:05 pm

For the second year Roger Carr is teaching a class with Stanford University's Continuing Studies Program entitled Alternative Art in the Bay Area. Carr, a physicist at SLAC has been going to the playa for a number of years now and has set up several installations there.

For anyone interested a course description for Roger's class can be found here: http://continuingstudies.stanford.edu/c ... RTH176.asp

Roger’s description of the class along with several interesting links can be found here: http://stanford.edu/~rcarr/bayart

Thanks abunch for sharing Badger. I would love to attend something like this but I am an east coast person with limited income capabilities. If the fellow ever put his experience in book form I would love to go grab a copy for my library.
