For all Burners feeling alone in remote Biblebeltistan

You are NOT alone!

Check out the Burning Man Regionals page right here on this same website:

http://regionals.burningman.com/index.html

There are regional contacts in Tennessee, Atlanta, and other cities mentioned by Burners on this page looking for other local Burners.

And if you're in some godforsaken place that doesn't (yet) have a regional contact, well - then YOU be the contact! Email the BM Regional Co-ordinator announcing yourself as the newly self-proclaimed BM regional contact of your fiefdom. They'd love to add another dot to the BM global map.

Enjoy,

Tried.

The contacts given for atlanta dont respond back, hence the "are there any burners in atlanta" thread.

For all you folks in this lonely feeling area, keep checking back here: http://regionals.burningman.com/index.html

New Regional Contacts are joining all the time, so your town could now have that dot. Also, don't discount those states that are around you....they may have the 411 on gatherings, events, people to hook up with in your state.

Keep checking.

i can't believe there are no burners in Atlanta. And i'm not even from your country, only visited ATL once.

So they snobbed ya? Keep trying. ATL is a big city. All you need is one other burner and you're with family.

Yeah... I am spiritual myself, but travelling in GA was WEIRD.
meh.

Zachary Coffin, the metal-works sculptor who built Colossus and a bunch of other incredible large scale Playa projects is from Atlanta. He is living in Zurich currently but Coffin's Gravity Works Studio is in Atlanta. Why not pop in and say hi?
