Reno-Compression... IN SPACE! aka Yuri's Night

All Reno, Nevada area Burners and Outer Space folk are welcome to start early to make this year's Reno-Compression Party the Spaciest. Here's a link to the event itself on April 14th: www.MutantVehicle.com/yuri.htm

The first planning meeting will take place at the venue itself, Stoney's Bar at 71 Wells Avenue, Reno, Wednesday, January 31, 2007 at 7:00 PM. It will be great to be there and mentally "place" our art and mini-theme camps with all us playa pals... IN SPACE!!!

Bring your ideas, concept sketches, and photos of your sensational works in progress. Maybe a few bucks for the bar (please don't BYOB). The owner will be behind the plank to answer questions. Should not take us more than a couple of hours.

Note: All of the DJ shifts for the event have been spoken for.

Everything is A-OK and CODE GREEN for GO in our BLAST OFF to ADVENTURE... IN SPACE!!!

The launch is only two weeks out and all systems are GO!

Mission Control is scrambling around the launch platform and hitting each other on their comb-over heads with clipboards.

How's everybody doing? If you've been lurking on this thread, please chime in so we'll know who we are saying hi to the day of the event.

Mantis is having her 6 legs waxed just for the event.

The two local newspapers are both doing special entertainment stories on the event in this Thursday's issues. I hope the pictures of the U-Me capsule don't look to "work-in-progress".
