What the fuck does
"Insufficient system resources for task" mean? My computer does that 10 seconds before it locks up. and I lose tons of shit. Fuck me hard - whats next.
Anyways I am tired of windows, bugs, viruses etc. will linux save me or is it hype?

For the first time I'm seriously researching buying a Mac, slap a copy of Bootcamp on it and see if it will meet the need. I also want a system that doesn't fire up the gas powered peaking powerplant everytime I flip the switch too. I cut the electric bill by over 70% from what it was this time last year....and I think I can wring a lot more money out with an updated system that doesn't suck so much fucking electricity.

What about Parallels then? I've got too much Windows stuff that I can't part with. And I need something that can run Ubuntu also. If you are gonna do Linux, might I suggest Ubuntu.
There is an Ubuntu Linux tribe on tribe. The install is pretty user friendly.
As far as Macs go, I really like the new I-Books with the intel duo core.
You can get the best of all worlds. I haven't tried it with vista yet but I have with linux, win xp and osx on the same system at the same time and it is wonderful.

I downloaded linux and ran the fucking install and it did not work. About 5 minutes in there was a corrupt file and it would not go past it. Fuck.
O well. what the fuck can you expect from a 4 and a half hour download? Bound to get a corrupt file in a download that size. Guess I will buy the fucking disks.

I am finally done with a logistics and camping plan for 32 persons. Found and assembled all of the costumes - Fuck yeah.
I even impressed my supervisor, and am now onto newer projects. I love it here

Any particular "task" that you are trying to run? Try opening task manager (control, alt, delete) and taking a look around.
