Ah, fuck. I got some writing done today, but precious little else. I should probably go outside and get some exercise. Maybe then I can get back to whittling away on my "to do" list...? On the other hand, it is almost time for supper, so maybe I should eat before or instead of going for a walk? :?

(I really feel like taking a nap, but can't possibly need anymore sleep!)

Fuck. . . I have a research paper due on Thursday and I haven't started it. Fuck, my best friend in the universe isn't coming home (he's in the USMC) in June, as expected. Rather, he will be sent to Iraq for god knowsn how long. A friend tells me they can hold him indefinitely when it is "a full blown war" overseas. My buddy doesn't get out until 2010. . . Does this mean I might not see him at all for three years?

This week sucks. Like, a lot.

Fuck! One of my favorite videos has been taken off You Tube because of the ViaComm crackdown.

Fuck! HSBC is calling more than 8 times a day. My dad has started giving them silly answers in hopes that they will give up and go away.

Fuck all the minor annoyances, such as my left ear feeling closed up and the caffeine withdrawl headache I was getting earlier.

...and Fuck the fact that all I can think to complain about are rather minor, trivial things! :P

Did you put your number on the "do not call list"? You can whack the fuckers with a claim for damages if they keep calling.

I'm living at my parents' place right now, so I have no idea about whether or not they are on the "Do Not Call" list or not. (For some reason my dad is paying for caller i.d., but doesn't have a caller i.d. unit, so I am not even going to try to guess about the "Do Not Call" list!)

Well, they will probably stop calling once I get employed again and start making payments again. If they try to sue me before then, I think I'll declare bankruptcy just for the general principle of things.

Oh, and to keep this thread on track: I spent most of yesterday down with a fucking headache! I'm thinking we must have had a weather front coming through, since it persisted even after I had some caffeine (of course, it was two glasses of ice tea, so maybe not enough caffeine? :? )

HSBC has offices in the US and I think that means that they have to comply with the do not call regulations even if they are using a call center in Canada. If they are harassing you you can still complain to the FCC. They do have a right to make reasonable contact to try and collect a debt, but they do not have a right to harrass you. Check with the FCC and local laws. Since it is your dads phone and not yours he may have rights regarding using his phone to harrass you thast will exceed yours.

Uh... Fuck. :)

I'm sorry, I know they're part of the fuckin' food chain but it's not like the fuckin' bats are mosquito-vorous specialists! I wish the goblins would come and take the entire mosquito species away RIGHT FUCKIN' NOW!!

 Yeesh, Fuck, DOT! I guess I'm lucky that over here in Wisconsin, its still too cold for mosquitoes! In any event, I seem to be lucky in that a mosquito bite only bothers me for a couple hours, then goes away. I used to eat a LOT of garlic, and that seemed to keep them away. They'd fly in close, then get confused by the smell of garlic, masking that of mammal. (It works, but I was eating a couple cloves of raw garlic in order to get to that level. Then the local bat population picked up, and the mosquitoes population was reduced.)

Fuck. No matter what I do I can't lose weight (restricting, exercising).
And I still haven't started that fucking stupid research paper due in like five fucking days. I'm not sure I even understand what is being asked of me. I get the concept of gathering research but I have no idea where to begin in regards to writing this five fucking page, POS paper.

Have you restricted soda? How much water do you drink? You might want to measure your waist and hips as well as stepping on a scale. For instance, I recently measured and weighed myself; waistline decreased by a half inch, hips stayed the same, arms and thighs went down, but I was two pounds heavier than last week.

Lose soda (and anything with high fructose corn syrup in it). HFCS goes straight to the lipoderm because the body doesn't know how to metabolize it.

Blew a *fucking* tube in a tire (stembubble, so it's not repairable), went to take it off and realized the tire is shot, too... Just ordered another one, but sheesh... f***ing highway robbery. And I suspect the one on the other side is rotten, too...

I NEVER drink soda, I think it's nasty. I also don't eat meat. I drink probably like...6 glasses of water/juice a day.

I measure myself sometimes, generally I just go by the space between my hipbones. Yeah I have issues.

Went into the fucking hospital for emergency surgery a couple of weeks ago just as the hospital was firing 170 staff members who had voted to unionize (it's already in court) because the management there is so fucking incompetent and as they are wheeling me into the fucking operating room at like 2 AM, someone tells me the front page of the paper that day has a story of an investigation into 3 people dying on the fucking operating table there in the past few weeks.

Plus, I wake up shaved like a fucking porn star.

But at least not at death's fucking door.

(The hospital nutritionist will ignore my check-in information a few hours later and try to give the fucking grim reaper another crack at me. You gotta watch 'em EVERY FUCKING MINUTE.)
