Shit, I mean "FUCK", philosopher, it sounds like hospitals haven't changed any since I worked at one of the largest here in the Mid-West. First few years there, the management was trying to break the union, right after the hospital had gone private prompting a huge number of employees to quit. The hospital head was the same bozo who, a few years later, blamed the sudden loss of profits on some victims of a bus fire for "not having proper insurance"! (That incident was what probably led to his sudden "retirement" a year or two later.) (The hospital had a sterling record of profitability as a state run institution, despite being the hospital uninsured people were sent to. Under the "Great" Tommy Thompson, it was railroaded into being privatized, supposedly for the sake of efficiency and increased profits-- and promptly started losing money. )

...and Tommy still wants to be President!

Who the fuck holds a candlelight vigil at noon?! How can they see the flames in broad daylight?

I thought the vigil for the fucking Iraq War was tonight, around six!

Or maybe the organizers forgot to put the real time on the fucking announcements! Sheesh!

Anyway, if it really is at noon, I fuckin' missed it. ImageImageImage

Yeah, we have one here at 6PM but it's a climb up a mountain. I'm in NO shape to do that.

I think I'll e-mail the organizers of the vigil and ask, "Did you really mean to have it at noon?" It just doesn't make any fucking sense to have a candlelight vigil during the day.

Oh, and Iraq. They could see the candles real good over there.

FUCK! Today's been really annoying and upsetting. I've felt out of it all day, which didn't help any when a lawyer friend of my dad's called, returning a call my dad had left for him yesterday. May dad was out, however, since it was about my unemployment problems (as in not receiving any) I tried to field the call, and mostly got lectured to about being on time for work by the lawyer. Later, when my dad got home, he decided to call the lawyer back and talk with him..., and my dad later lectured me about being late for work. He also lectured me, as did his lawyer friend, about sounding "slippery" and "dishonest" when I am answering questions. I decided not to tell him that this is because, at a very young age, I learned that giving my dad any sort of definitive answer meant that the answer could later be used against me, at any time. I DID try to explain about my theory as to why I had problems with being late to work..., and that didn't go over well. I later got it straightened out somewhat at supper, after my dad had calmed down somewhat (but still seemed short with my mom, which I think means he was at least partially channeling being mad at me elsewhere).

Also, today's job search wasn't very encouraging at all. I tried using some of the temporary agencies home sites, but they, by and large, seem poorly designed. (In fact, Adecco's job search feature doesn't seem to work at all for the State of Wisconsin....)

I wanna take off somewhere for a vacation or something, but don't see how that would be possible. (If I had the biodiesel/wvo bus of my dreams, it might be, but that seems to be an elusive goal for me.... :( )

Thanks. I know I need to get off my backside and do it, right now the trouble is resources, which I am actively trying to correct! (Next obstacle might be logistics, but that I already have some ideas on how to solve. At least as of this time last year, there was an active biodiesel community in Madison, and they might be able to help. Then there is always a friend of mine who has a large back yard which could only be improved by the presence of a bus/work in progress.... )

I wouldn't mind having a bus take me to some of the places I've dreamed about, actually. But that's another topic for another time (maybe).

I feel a bit better after getting the rant out of me.

I really need to make myself get to bed. I'm starting to ramble even more than normal, I think....

Fuck the Eugene Mac Store!

Their stuff is tagged for fucking TWICE as much as everyone else sells it for, and today I took my old laptop in because the hinges were busted and the monitor wasn't displaying. The guy behind the counter just gives me this "Oh, that's too old, we don't fix those anymore. Sorry, good luck!" Translation: "You fuckin' suck, go away."

I ain't NEVER going back to that fuckin' store again. I don't have to take this "too fuckin' cool for thou" shit. I got all my fucking word docs and my Burn checklist on that fuckin' machine and I can't fucking access them.

BAS...

dunno on that store an such.... but, if you wanna go someplace, just remember the old tired... but nonetheless true tome---

it is really the journey... not the destination.

Damn... I've been workin like a fool to regain the life of a full time artist I walked away from 25 years ago. Do I regret it? Not really... cause, well, I was sorta meant to do this.... I'd not appreciate it as much, or know it as being so important. I just know this for sure--- I'm in the right place now, seeing as I should now... with friends and love now I might never have known otherwise. Precious stuff... hold onto it as long as ya can.

Good night friend!!!

Got our tix today FUCK YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is going to be an awesome summer!!!!! Old boyfriends gone (feeling frisky though) almost called him for a bootie call. That would have been a misteake I am sure.

logistics plan is done for the summer now i get more real assignments.

just got back from my first overseas assignment. It was eye opening to say the least. Darfur, Sudan. Just spent 2 weeks there. Was supposed to be longer but cut it short due to security concerns. Makes you appreciate what you have when you see what millions can survive on. FUCK its depressing there.

What magnificent robots! Many thanks, Herr Kernul!

I'm looking forward to sharing some of my artworks...I was ready to go highspeed YESTERDAY, and then the Charter contractor showed up and laughed at my 600-foot rural driveway.
FUCKKKKK!!!!!!
Now the Charter survey team has to come out and take a look, and they might be able to amp up the output and give me some service. Fucking Data Island! Tree line is too steep for decent satellite reception, and the local hillbillies kill and eat all of my homing pigeons...

Well here it is - I met a new man and have been hanging out with him quite a bit. He started working here about a year before i did and we really hit it off on our last job in the field.

Fucking problem is that I dont know if I am on the rebound or not. how does one know if what you are feeiling is real or a hole I am trying to fill.

He is going to Burning man with all of us and I am looking forward to experiencing it with all of them and especially Rob.

I dunno, I married people I worked with. One was a disaster, the other was mylarry and we've been at it for 20 years. YMMV I guess, but generally, no.

It's a long fuckin' story, but I'll give you the rundown...

WE GOT THE HOUSE!!!

Even better - went over the hill and got my nails done, met some of the locals - just like a small town!!!

It'll be one of the shortest moves we have made distance wise - but people wise it's light years off... Suffice it to say - It is NOT Oakland.

WOW!!!

I'll try to remember to snap a pix of it and send it to ya. We live (for now) prolly less than a half mile from Oak Knolls and have been following the story on it... They (recently) sold the land to developers and other than the old O club have decided to raze the site to build more tax base, er, housing.

Just like everything else - you want to fuck something up in Oakland just bribe the city council... grrr... makes me glad we're moving... They threw away the chance to become one of the premier solar generation facilities in the nation because a developer sold them out to build (overpriced) condos on what is called one of the 7 best suited brightfields in the US in an old quarry just north of Oak Knolls... Guess personal gain far outweighed the public good.
