I had my account lockup once.
I had to be fixed by the netweb wizards.

Which netweb wizards are these? I sent a message to "admin" two weeks ago to no avail. Is there another, perhaps less busy wizard to whom I should speak about a username change?

Maybe if you try to sign in with your new name and a new password, it will allow it?
I think it will with a different email.

You can write to Dork or Emily Sparkle or post in the feedback area and maybe someone will see it there.

Re-birthed? Was it a tough delivery?
Sounds messy.

Don't let them wrap you up in a blanket and whack you with badminton rackets.....I found out afterwards that that was COMPLETELY unnecessary.

Fortunately, my name was exactly the same.

That is how it is done here, did it myself last year.

Tribe allows you to just change your username, but that doesn't make it better than here.

Oh but it is :D A proper APGAR score must be documented after birth, whacking you with badminton rackets was essential to determine your Grimace score.

Plus it's fun :P
Excuse me Ma'am, your going to feel a small prick.

Yeah, but think of all the photoshopping of your new avatar to get your finger in its proper place that would entail.

One problem with opening up a new account is you lose your post count and you start again with zero!

When I was a kid I used to pray every night for a new bicycle.

longevity or a measure of participation or whatever. It wouldn't matter to you if your post number dropped from 2337 to 0?

Sort of like how many times you've been to the playa.

Today is the first day of the rest of my life.
I awake as a child to see the world begin
On monarch wings and birthday wanderings.
I want to put on faces, walk in the wet and the cold
And look forward to my growing old...

To grow old is to change, and to change is to be new.
To be new is to be young again...I barely remember, when
My memory is stolen by the dawning,
Blotted out by the sun's hypnotic eye,

Out by the sun's hypnotic light.

Only in a non-entertainment environment. I have actors do stuff on set with guns (at the director's direction) that would make me tackle someone on a live fire range.

When parents bring their kids into the gun shop I somehow get the kids to play with the plastic blue guns with the lasergrips and have the parents watch. 99% if the kids will put their finger in the trigger guard, which just shocks their parents. So dangerous.

Moonpie - if you had posted more than once I would feel bad about hi-jacking your thread. But where'd you go?

I think the point of "her" thread is that her? name is now lunartool, look at the first post, Frisky.

I think that Sail Man's solution to the name change was good. Just kill off whoever is using the name you like and take their name. Or is it take their name and kill yourself... :? or maybe kill everyone and then take a name... no, no, no, that wasn't it. :D But it was good.
