That's fucking sweet. I can't count how many times I've been frustrated and pissed off because of the lack of fire rings or pits at the beach. Around here, all the pits are either decrepit and falling apart, half buried, or non existent. We even have one on a state beach that is just a big metal barrel sunk two feet in the ground. The problem is, unless you fill it halfway with rocks, or waste an assload of wood building it up, it's pretty much useless. It's also the ONLY firepit on that beach, which runs about a mile, mile point five.
I also think the "closes at sundown" rule is bs. Who has a bonfire during the day. . .?
